Project Information

Project comprises a multidisciplinary approach in frame of CEEX Romanian Program as well as ERA aiming at: developing interlinked and verified predictive modelling tools for assessment of local, regional and global forest system changes due to environmental pollutants and climatic changes impact; analytical methods development, generally applicable to forest system at European level. The innovative aspect of these predictive tools is achieved by modelling exposure for degrading of important forest systems by modelling effects on with powerful assessment tools for the identification of key modes of action, key toxicants and key physical parameters determining exposure. Proposal belongs to ERA research priorities, being a research-development project of great complexity including fundamental research and applicative performed in common by a representative national consortium aiming: integrating, quality and performance level enhancement of research and development; development of a long time national and other future international scientific partnerships.
